Money matters - even if you are not interested in it at all (as this is the case with me)! As I have already mentioned before, I have never asked anybody to donate money to my facility or to adopt one or the other of my patient birds. Sometimes visitors wonder how I get along. Well, so far, it has worked.

But there is still a lot of work to be done:

• a new fence has to be built,
• aviaries need re-roofing,
• wooden walls need some more painting to make them weather-proof,
• one of the old houses on the property has to be rebuilt and reorganized,
• a new hackbox is already under construction,
• an "inside aviary" for very sick birds is a must.
